History & Heart
Second Baptist Christian Academy is a ministry of Second Baptist Church.

Established in 1998 as a preschool program, Second Baptist Christian Academy has since grown to a full-scale school offering an educational platform that includes a preschool program (PreK3 & PreK4) and Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. In 2010, our campus expanded to include a new Family Education Center housing eight new classrooms, a gymnasium, and media center.

It is our desire to offer a quality Christian education in a loving, nurturing environment. We strive to help children reach their full potential by administering a structured, Christ-centered curriculum from Bob Jones University (BJU) and Purposeful Design. It is our goal to offer students a firm foundation in Biblical teaching while achieving a solid Christian education.

Each child is given by God specific gifts and talents. It is the responsibility of parents and educators to help "unwrap" those gifts so our children will become productive members of our society.
